Police seek whereabouts of 13-year-old boy

Big Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old boy who was reported as a runaway.

Jason Oharra was reported as a runaway on March 4, and was last seen May 21 in the area of Kahala Street in Puna, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He may also be in the area of Pahoa Road in Nanawale.

Oharra is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 130 to 150 pounds, with a fair complexion, and short light-brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black and teal shorts, a blue and gray T-shirt, and black shoes.
